Pacquiao vs Bradley Set For April 12th
Many call it the worst decision on the history of boxing.
On June 9th, 2012, Manny Pacquiao lost to Timothy Bradley via split decision. The loss derailed hopes of a Pacquiao/Mayweather superfight (at least at the time), so it was a very significant outcome. Practically the entire world felt that Pacquiao easily won the fight - imagine their shock when Bradley won on two of the judges scorecards (Duane Ford and CJ Ross, for those scoring at home). Jerry Roth, on the other hand, scored the fight 115-113 for Pacquiao.
Pacquiao will get his chance to right this wrong on April 12th, 2014, when he squares off against Timothy Bradley for the second time in Las Vegas. The fight, which will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, will be for the WBO Welterweight title.
Pacquiao is coming off of an unanimous decision win over Brandon Rios in November of 2013, while Bradley is coming off of a split decision win over Juan Manuel Marquez in October of 2013.
Bradley currently has a professional record of 31-0-0 (12 knockouts), while Pacquiao is 55-5-2 (38 knockouts).
Manny Pacquiao is currently a -200 favorite in Las Vegas, which means that you would need to bet $200 in order to have a chance of winning $100 back.
Bradley, on the other hand, is a +160 underdog, which means that a successful $100 wager would yield a total profit of $160.
